no children but have been fortunate to be involved with Leslea Collins Abrahamsen's 2 children (she married my brother) throughout their life. I'll let her tell you about them, but they are wonderful :)!
Bio:
I have lived in the Des Moines area for 24 years and have been at my current job for almost 16 years. I married Bill Pieper in 2003 -- he had been a confirmed bachelor. We enjoy bike riding and other outdoor activites as time permits. We both have mentored children (which is how we met) and are currently working with 2 boys, ages 9 & 11 from Sudan. Life is good and I always have fond memories of growing up in Ames and my years in the Ames school system. I also feel fortunate to have one of my best friends from school as my sister-in-law. My date for the reunion will be Kay Modde (Snook). We recently (in the last couple of years) connected through a womens talk series in Des Moines.
